Family Research Council Action PAC Endorses Pete Sessions

February 1, 2022

FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected with Family Research Council Action, is endorsing Congressman Pete Sessions to continue representing Texas’ 17th Congressional District in Congress.

FRC Action Executive Vice President, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) William G. Boykin commented:

“Since its inception, FRC Action PAC has supported candidates who take a strong stand for faith, family, and freedom. In this critical hour, Americans are looking for bold leaders who are willing to defend these values. From working with Pete, evaluating his record, and speaking with those who know him, we believe he is such a leader. Pete understands the fundamental importance of protecting the right to life, the central role strong families must play if our country is to thrive, and that religious liberty is the bedrock of a truly prosperous nation.

“Throughout his tenure in Congress, Pete has always been a defender of life, family, and religious freedom. He repeatedly votes to protect the unborn and co-sponsors legislation such as the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, and the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act. Pete has stood for religious freedom by supporting legislation such as the Child Welfare Provider Inclusion Act, which aims to protect the right of faith-based adoption agencies to operate according to their deeply held religious convictions by placing children in homes with a mother and father. Pete has and will continue to oppose the radical Equality Act, which would violate parental rights, undermine religious freedom, and jeopardize female-only spaces.

“From working with Pete in Congress, I know he has proven to be a faithful vote for life, family, and religious freedom. We believe Pete will fight for these shared values once again in the 118th Congress.

“FRC Action PAC is confident that Pete will continue to be a dedicated advocate for life, freedom, and strong family values. He is the leader that Texas desperately needs, and we are pleased to offer our endorsement of his candidacy for election to the U.S. House of Representatives. Together we will create a culture in which all human life is valued, families flourish, and religious liberty thrives,” concluded Boykin.
